SUMMARY:ENCOUNTERING DIVINE MERCY ON THOMAS SUNDAY
DESCRIPTION:As part of the continuing celebration of the Jubilee Year of Mercy\, the Apostleship of Prayer invites you to a special service in honor of the Mercy of Our Lord\, which will be held at Saint Josaphat Cathedral on Thomas Sunday\, April 3\, 2016\, at 3:00pm. Bishop Bohdan Danylo will lead members of our local clergy in prayer\, including a Moleben to the Merciful Lord\, and will be the principal homilist in English. Fr. Mykhaylo Drozdovskyy\, pastor of Pokrova Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church in Parma\, will also deliver a reflection in Ukrainian. The prayer service will feature the veneration of the Icon of Our Lord’s Divine Mercy\, and the Icon of the Theotokos\, Mother of Mercy\, the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy\, and the Mystery of Holy Anointing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will also be made available. Our prayer will be followed by refreshments in the Men’s Club Room\, where you will be able to enjoy a beautiful display o icons written by the hand of Ukrainian artist\, Mr. Andrij Maday. Together\, let us celebrate the Jubilee Year of Mercy\, and open our hearts to the unfathomable mercy of Our Lord! \nТОМИНА НЕДІЛЯ\nАпостольство Молитви при нашій парафії запрошує всіх взяти участь в Молебні до Божого Милосердя\, який буде відслужений в першу неділю Великодня\, 3-го квітня\, в 3-ій годині пополудні в катедрі Св. Йосафата. Преосвященний Владика Богдан проповідуватиме англійською мовою\, а отець Михайло Дроздовський\, парох церкви Покрова в Пармі\, буде проповідувати українською мовою. Після відправи буде перекуска в приміщенні Чоловічого Клубу\, а також можливість помилуватися прекрасними іконами роботи пана Андрія Мадая.
