Героями фільму стали Папа Іван ХХІІІ\, президент США Джон Кеннеді\, Генеральні секретарі ЦК КПРС Йосип Сталін та Микита Хрущов.\nНазву стрічці дала агентурна справа «Рифи»\, яка зберігається в архіві СБУ України. В 33 томах справи докладно задокументовано як радянська влада розробляла та втілювала в життя план знищення Української греко-католицької Церкви та її Глави Йосифа Сліпого. Ці документи\, які радянська репресивна система дбайливо збирала та зберігала\, стали основою фільму. До стрічки увійшли свідчення учасників та очевидців подій\, коментарі істориків з України\, Італії\, США\, унікальні кадри кінохроніки\, які знімальна група розшукала в українських та іноземних кіноархівах. SUMMARY:Eparchy Fundraising Event in North Port\, Florida
DESCRIPTION:For years the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma struggled under a significant debt burden.  Thanks to the support of many faithful individuals and parishes\, I am pleased to report that the Eparchy finished paying the last of its external debts last month. \nIt is therefore time to lift our sights to the future and begin to build a strong foundation for the Eparchy for years to come.  In particular\, we need to plan to support our Missions\, Missionaries and Ministries. \n\nMissions: Our parishes – older and newer – that exist from Ohio to Florida.  These are the centers of our spiritual lives and the cornerstones of our communities.\nMissionaries: Our clergy\, including priests\, deacons and seminarians.\nMinistries: The pastoral and outreach programs that make a difference in people’s lives such as our Youth Ministry Program\, Young Adult Ministry\, Vibrant Parish Program.\n\nThe Eparchy needs financial resources for these needs in the short term (over the next 5 years) and the long term (for decades to come).  To achieve this\, I am planning a series of fundraising events in several parts of the Eparchy this Fall.  I would like to ask for your support with these events: attend them if you can; give them your maximum financial support; volunteer on the committees planning these events; and pray for their success. \nThe Eparchy exists to serve you and your families\, and to preach the Gospel to all people.  We need financial resources to do this well.  Please support this most important initiative.  And please remember the Eparchy in your prayers\, together with our clergy\, young people and me.  You will be in mine. \nGratefully yours in Christ\, \nMost Reverend Bohdan J. DESCRIPTION:For years the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma struggled under a significant debt burden.  Thanks to the support of many faithful individuals and parishes\, I am pleased to report that the Eparchy finished paying the last of its external debts last month. \nIt is therefore time to lift our sights to the future and begin to build a strong foundation for the Eparchy for years to come.  In particular\, we need to plan to support our Missions\, Missionaries and Ministries. \n\nMissions: Our parishes – older and newer – that exist from Ohio to Florida.  These are the centers of our spiritual lives and the cornerstones of our communities.\nMissionaries: Our clergy\, including priests\, deacons and seminarians.\nMinistries: The pastoral and outreach programs that make a difference in people’s lives such as our Youth Ministry Program\, Young Adult Ministry\, Vibrant Parish Program.\n\nThe Eparchy needs financial resources for these needs in the short term (over the next 5 years) and the long term (for decades to come).  To achieve this\, I am planning a series of fundraising events in several parts of the Eparchy this Fall.  I would like to ask for your support with these events: attend them if you can; give them your maximum financial support; volunteer on the committees planning these events; and pray for their success. \nThe Eparchy exists to serve you and your families\, and to preach the Gospel to all people.  We need financial resources to do this well.  Please support this most important initiative.  And please remember the Eparchy in your prayers\, together with our clergy\, young people and me.  You will be in mine. \nGratefully yours in Christ\, \nMost Reverend Bohdan J. DESCRIPTION:Registration Letter\n\nRetreat Program\n\nRegistration Form\n\nThe theme of the Retreat will be\, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live\, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God\, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal 2.20” \nRetreat Master will be Protodeacon David Kennedy of Saint Elias Parish in Brampton\, Ontario\, who is excited to be with us and has a wonderful retreat planned.  It really is going to be a delightful experience. \nThe Program will begin on Friday\, August 26th with Vespers at 6:30pm.  The Retreat will end on Sunday August 28th with a conference 1:00pm with Bishop Bohdan.  For more information\, please see enclosed Program. DESCRIPTION:The Eparchial Youth Committee of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma offers several programs for our youth each year.  The largest of these events is the annual Acolyte & Youth Convention.   The convention provides an opportunity for the people of our eparchy to gather in the atmosphere of our Ukrainian Catholic faith and fellowship.  We are blessed to have such a wonderful group of young people.  The youth are a great and invaluable treasure to our eparchy and to our Church! \nWe would like to extend an invitation to you and to the young people of your parish to attend our convention\, which will be held at The Gilmary Catholic Retreat Center in Coraopolis\, PA on June 15th-17th\, 2016.  We have extended the convention to a three-day event!   Connecting to Pope Francis’s dedication of the 2016 Jubilee Year of Mercy\, the theme of the convention will be centered upon the Mercy of God. \nThe youth will have an opportunity meet others from the eparchy\, develop friendships\, and grow closer to our Lord through the spiritual conferences and liturgical services that will be provided.  It is our hope that the participants will encounter the Mercy of God—an encounter that will inspire love and goodness. \nFamilies are welcome.  A ‘juniors program’ will be available for younger attendees (ages 7-12).   Registration for the ‘juniors program’ is necessary. \nYour participation and support are greatly appreciated. \nSincerely yours in Christ\, \n$75 if registered by May 30 – $95 after May 30

SUMMARY:ENCOUNTERING DIVINE MERCY ON THOMAS SUNDAY
DESCRIPTION:As part of the continuing celebration of the Jubilee Year of Mercy\, the Apostleship of Prayer invites you to a special service in honor of the Mercy of Our Lord\, which will be held at Saint Josaphat Cathedral on Thomas Sunday\, April 3\, 2016\, at 3:00pm. Bishop Bohdan Danylo will lead members of our local clergy in prayer\, including a Moleben to the Merciful Lord\, and will be the principal homilist in English. Fr. Mykhaylo Drozdovskyy\, pastor of Pokrova Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church in Parma\, will also deliver a reflection in Ukrainian. The prayer service will feature the veneration of the Icon of Our Lord’s Divine Mercy\, and the Icon of the Theotokos\, Mother of Mercy\, the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy\, and the Mystery of Holy Anointing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will also be made available. Our prayer will be followed by refreshments in the Men’s Club Room\, where you will be able to enjoy a beautiful display o icons written by the hand of Ukrainian artist\, Mr. Andrij Maday.
