Benefit Luncheon

This Benefit Luncheon will help the Eparchy to do this, as the proceeds will support our ministries (such as Youth Ministry) and vocations, and assist missions and parishes throughout the entire Eparchy. Also, in an act of solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, 10% of the Luncheon’s net proceeds will be given to our Patriarch, Sviatoslav, to use for his highest priorities in the worldwide Ukrainian Catholic Church.

I hope and pray that you will attend one of this year’s Benefit Luncheons, or at least participate by making a contribution or praying for the Luncheons’ success.

The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma was established by Pope Saint John Paul II in 1983. The Eparchy consists of 47 parishes and missions located in 11 states stretching from Ohio to Florida: Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and western Pennsylvania.

The purpose of the Eparchy is to serve Ukrainian Catholics, preach the Gospel message, bring people closer to God and save souls. The proceeds of this Benefit Luncheon will provide needed assistance for new missions and ministries, and for re-energizing the Church through the Vibrant Parish Initiative. Ten percent of the Luncheon’s net proceeds will be given to our Patriarch, His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, to devote to his highest priorities in the Church.
