Our Ukrainian Catholic Church is preparing for the VII Session of the Patriarchal Sobor on August 26-29, 2020 in Lviv Ukraine. The theme of the upcoming Sobor/Council is Immigration/Migration, Settlements and the Unity of the Ukrainian Catholic Church.

In order to prepare for the Sobor, a gathering of bishops, clergy, monastic and lay delegates from every eparchy in the entire Ukrainian Catholic Church, each eparchy is asked to have pre-Sobor conventions to discuss the importance of this topic on our local level.

Since our eparchy geographically covers 11 states in order to discuss these issues in depth, we are planning a regional convention. For our parishes in Mid-Atlantic Deanery, the convention is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. Basil the Great Ukrainian Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC.
