Ninth Annual East Meets West Retreat Will Focus on Spiritual Warfare
The Ninth Annual East Meets West Retreat will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Arden, North Carolina, on Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18, 2022.
A program of Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke Ukrainian Catholic Mission, which is located at St. Barnabas, the retreat will be led by Fr. Ivan Chirovsky.
Fr. Chirovsky will present three talks on unseen, or spiritual warfare in the Eastern Christian tradition. He also will give the homily at Divine Liturgy on Sunday, June 19, at 3 p.m.
Fr. Chirovsky is a priest of St. Josaphat Eparchy and director of spiritual formation at Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
