Metropolia Humanitarian Aid Fund  annual report and the updated information on HWF on this website:  https://ukrcatholic.org/offices-and-ministries/healing-of-wounds-of-the-war-in-ukraine-fund/reports

On behalf of His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, we would like to thank you for all your generous donations provided through The Metropolia Humanitarian Aid Fund of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in the US.  With the trusting and openhearted mandate of our donors, we have distributed $7,2 million in 2022-2023 supporting 103 projects.  The Fund helped internally displaced persons and refugees, provided medical aid and emergency food assistance, supported military and medical chaplains, strengthened supply chains for humanitarian aid provided by our partners.

The Ukrainian bishops in the US has decided to transform the Metropolia Humanitarian Aid Fund into the Healing of Wounds of the War in Ukraine Fund (HWF) as the Synod of the Bishops in Ukraine has requested to enhance our efforts in helping to heal wounds of the war.

HWF supports projects that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences of the war waged against Ukraine. The Fund seeks to respond quickly to urgent needs of our beneficiaries showing our solidarity and Christian love to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

The Healing of Wounds of the War in Ukraine Fund (HWF) has already supported 8 projects in Jan-April, 2024 and another 15 in May.
