With sorrow in our hearts we bring the sad news that on March 2, 2026, Maria Hanovsky, mother of Very Reverend Canon Andrew Hanovsky, the priest of Saint Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy, passed into eternity.

+Maria Hanovsky, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep.  She was 94 years old.  Wife of +Ivan (deceased), mother of Fr. Andrew and Lucy, grandmother of Monica and Kamil, great grandmother of Michael and Thomas.  +Maria was buried on March 4, 2026, in the Main Cemetery in Peremyshl, in the family tomb, at her husband’s side.
