On Sunday, May 29, 2016 His Beatitude Patriarch Sviatoslav together with members of the Permanent Synod of the Ukrainian Catholic Church celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Chicago, IL.

The Permanent Synod met in Chicago in preparation for the Synod of the Ukrainian Catholic Bishops in Lviv, Ukraine in September 2016.

Bishop Bohdan Danylo and Archdeacon Jeffrey Smolilo celebrated the Pontifical Divine Liturgy together with the Permanent Synod Fathers.
