The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and Greater Cleveland’s Ukrainian Community invite the public to join them in a prayer service for peace in Ukraine.
The Vigil of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 6pm at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in Cleveland, Ohio.
This prayer service is in commemoration of the two years of Russian aggression against Ukraine, which has caused thousands of deaths and injuries, as well as displacement and humanitarian crisis.
The prayer service will include readings, prayers, and hymns from members of the Ukrainian community.
All are welcome to attend this ecumenical and interfaith event, which aims to express solidarity with the people of Ukraine and to pray for an end to the violence from Russian aggression against Ukraine.
