It is with great sadness and heaviness of heart that we inform you of the death of Rt Rev. Mitred Msgr. Leon Mosko – former Pastor, Principal, Rector, Editor, Vicar General and Chancellor in the Stamford Eparchy. Msgr. Mosko died on September 20, 2021.
In his 65 years as a priest, Monsignor served as Pastor, Principal of St. Basil Prep, Rector of St Basil Seminary, of St. Josaphat Seminary, as Chancellor of the Stamford Eparchy, as Vicar General, and as Editor of the SOWER – excelling in all these assignments. For his dedicated services he was named Papal Chaplain and Mitred Archpriest. God grant Msgr Mosko eternal rest!

Parastas: Thursday evening, September 23rd, 7:30 PM, in St. Basil College Seminary Chapel, 195 Glenbrook Rd Stamford CT 06902
Requiem Divine Liturgy: Friday, September 24th, at 10:00 AM, also in St. Basil College Seminary Chapel.
Second Requiem Divine Liturgy on Saturday, September 25th at 10:00 am at the Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church, 684 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861
Afterwards, interment in the family plot at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery, Florida Grove Road, Hopelawn, Middlesex County, NJ.
