The Patriarchal Catechetical Commission of the UGCC and the Catechetical-Pedagogical Institute of the UCU (Ukrainian Catholic University) have announced a new formation program in theology and evangelization.

The program is designed for all who would like to become more familiar with the foundations of Eastern theology, deepen their understanding of the faith, and grow in their ability to live and share the Gospel. It also serves as an  opportunity for the ongoing formation of catechists.

The five-month program is offered online and consists of six courses presented in a hybrid learning format.The format allows participants to study at their own pace while also benefiting from direct interaction with instructors. Participants will access the course materials through the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) online platform.

Registration is open until September 10, 2026. The suggested donation for the entire program is $150. Instruction is in English.
